Capoeria Ginga Cruzada Academy of Grupo Angolina

Capoeira is a unique Brazilian art form that blends fight, dance, music, game and philosophy - recognised by UNESCO as an Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity.

Ginga Cruzada Academy - Grupo Angolina offers Capoeira classes every Monday and Wednesday, 5pm–6.30pm at The Old Scout Hall, 38 Memorial Drive, Eumundi.

Classes focus on developing physical and mental wellbeing through aerobic and anaerobic exercises, motor coordination, music and practice. Students also learn to play the traditional instruments used in Capoeira.

Each session includes movement, acrobatics and gameplay, encouraging mutual respect, skill development and positive social connection among participants.

Yoga with Vanesa

Vanesa offers gentle, accessible yoga classes designed for all ages and abilities, with a special focus on elderly students and people with little or no yoga experience. Classes are calm, supportive, and adapted to each body, making them a safe and nurturing space to move at your own pace.

The practice focuses on:

*Improving mobility and joint health

*Building gentle strength and balance

*Stretching muscles safely

*Enhancing circulation, posture, and body awareness

*Supporting relaxation and nervous system balance

These classes are ideal for:

*Seniors and older adults

*Beginners or those returning to  movement after a break

*People seeking gentle, therapeutic exercise

*Anyone wanting to move with care, awareness, and kindness

Master Teresa’s  love of martial arts started as a 9 year old introduced to Judo. As a teenager she studied Tae Kwon Do and Ju Jitsu. In the mid 1990’s she discovered her passion.

Sunshine Coast Eskrima was established by Snr Master Teresa Cronin in 2004. Since that time Snr Master Teresa has taught many students and bought many students through to black belt. Snr Master Teresa welcomes everyone who wishes to learn.

Teresa also incorporates others styles  in her teachings also holds a 1st degree blackbelt in Arjukanpo.
